Alexis Polles, M.D. is a graduate of Tulane University school of Medicine. She is residency trained in Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Polles has worked with professionals with addictive and psychiatric disorders for more than 30 years in clinical and administrative roles. She is the former Medical Director of the Mississippi Professionals Health Network. Dr. Polles is a Board Certified psychiatrist and Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a Diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, a Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA approved trainer, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and Supervisor, and a Certified Medical Review Officer. She has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Her special areas of interest, in addition to addiction, are professional sexual misconduct, professional burnout, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Williams S. Jacobs, M.D. is board certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. A Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude University of Georgia undergraduate and graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Jacobs did his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham before matriculating to UF for his Addiction Medicine Fellowship. He is currently Professor in Psychiatry and Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia. His work has included serving as Medical Director of multiple addiction treatment programs as well as expert witness work, consulting with state and federal agencies, authoring peer reviewed works and as an investigator on pharmacologic studies.
Medical Director EmeritusPenelope P. Ziegler, M.D., FASAM, is the former Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Professionals Resource Network, Inc. (PRN). Before coming to PRN in July 2013, Dr. Ziegler was the Medical Director of the Virginia Health Practitioners’ Monitoring Program. She has worked in the addiction field since 1985, and been the Medical Director of several treatment and monitoring programs. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Physician Health Programs. Dr. Ziegler is Board Certified in general and addiction psychiatry and in addiction medicine.
Associate Medical Director
Martha E. Brown, M.D. is an Associate Professor at the UF College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and the Addiction Medicine Group and Florida Recovery Center (FRC). After graduation from Clemson University, Dr. Brown matriculated to Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) where she was a medical student, intern, resident and Chief Resident, and finally an Addiction Psychiatry Fellow. After graduation, she moved to New Orleans where she was an Assistant Professor at the Louisiana State University Medical School (LSU) and became Louisiana State Physician Health Program Director. After leading this program for impaired health professionals, developing prevention and treatment for patients from physicians to professional athletes, she was recruited to the University of South Florida (USF) Medical School where she became an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and director of Division of Addiction Psychiatry. In 2006, she became Associate Dean for Faculty Development in the USF college of Medicine. Dr. Brown is a double boarded psychiatrist and a national expert on controlled substance “Misprescribing” and areas of professionalism. Dr. Brown has a long history of being asked to be an expert by State and Federal governmental agencies, and has a number of scholarly and research interests in addiction psychiatry.
Yvonne Kennedy, Ph.D., C.P., C.C.F.C. A board certified practitioner and a Fellow in Clinical Psychodrama, and Group Psychology, and Socio-Drama. Dr. Kennedy is an expert in psychodrama addictions, and an international trainer and lecturer on these subjects. She has more than 25 years of distinguished service as an administrator of a 140-bed U.S. Navy training program specializing in addictions and psychodrama. She has performed an extensive number of research projects and is widely published. Dr. Kennedy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art from the Layton College of Art in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, her Master’s in Human Resources Management from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and her Doctorate in Rehabilitation management from Columbia Pacific University in Navoto, California.

Delena R. Torrence, MS, CAP, ICADC
Delena graduated from California State College (now California University of Pennsylvania), with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and an Aging Specialist Certificate. She is also a graduate of Springfield College in Tampa, Florida with a Masters of Science in Human Services, and a minor in Community Psychology. Delena is certified by the State of Florida as an Addiction Professional as well as an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Delena has been employed by the Professionals Resource Network (PRN) as a Case Manager since 2001. She has been involved with referring participants for evaluation and treatment as well as being responsible for monitoring the participants. Delena is assigned to monitor medical students and acts as liaison between the medical school contacts and PRN. Delena assists in orienting and training new Case Management staff.
Kim Simon, MPPA
Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Florida, and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. Kim’s career and volunteer experience has been centered on non-profit advocacy with survivors of abuse and underrepresented populations. These positions have focused on spreading awareness, providing case management and empowerment-based support and counseling, and collaborating with local and state organizations to provide services.
Neal Tomaszewski, BA
Neal began his career in the substance abuse field at age 17, when he worked at Eagleville Hospital and Rehabilitation Center as an Activities Therapist in the Recreation Department. He joined the US Navy in 1982, where he served for twenty years in Navy Medicine with the Submarine Force. When Neal retired from the Navy, he graduated from Columbia college and reentered the substance abuse field. Neal’s career has been focused on work in non-profit treatment facilities, where he has provided direct client services with the focus on recovery through the 12 Step recovery process.
Natalie Kovish, LMHC
Natalie has been a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida since 1998. She graduated with a Dual Master’s degree in mental health counseling and substance abuse counseling. Natalie has experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health/substance abuse, private practice and with the Duval County School System, as well as serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator in a variety of clinical trials, for numerous mental health indications and chronic pain/pain management.
Chad Brazle, BS, MA
Chad graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree and a Minor in Theater. He is also a graduate of Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois with a Masters of Arts degree in Education/Teaching and Leadership.
A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Chad has worked in many disciplines, including inpatient and outpatient mental health, substance abuse and addiction recovery/treatment. As a Certified Educator, Chad worked closely with parents and students in Illinois Public schools to assist in the development of individual accountability and responsibility. As a lifelong learner, Chad continues to develop his skills in Mental Health and Addiction Recovery.
Janet Wroblewski, BS
Janet graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Health Promotion and Education. She worked in the Adolescent Chemical Dependency Unit at Edwin Shaw Hospital in Ohio, where she gained experience in group therapy and Twelve Step programs. After moving to Florida, Janet worked at Lakeview Health Treatment Center and worked in the gender specific adult units. Janet has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, assisting patients in home health care and in the Ritz Carlton’s Ritz Kids learning program.
Deborah Shaw, BA
Deborah’s interest in Behavioral Health began in 1992, while she was working for Sid Martin Bridge House Detox Center in Gainesville, Florida. She has worked in diverse specialty areas of the medical field for over twenty years. Deborah holds a BA in Business Administration from Mississippi State University.

Kayla graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with Dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work. Shortly after graduating, she gained experience providing in-home counseling services to adults and children. After relocating to Florida., she began working at UF Health Jacksonville as the Patient Advocate for both the Emergency Department and the Maternal & Fetal Medicine Department. She later obtained her Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Kayla expanded her experience in strengths-based and systemic therapeutic services for individuals, couples, and families.

Tish Conwell is the Chief Operating Officer at PRN. Ms. Conwell has worked at PRN since 2001, and assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2019. Ms. Conwell’s responsibilities include management of the Administrative Department staff and operations, liaison with the Florida Medical Association, Department of Health and Department of Business and Professional Regulation and University researches for PRN research and data analysis.
