Case Manager
Amelia graduated cum laude with a Bachelors in Social Work from Albany State University after completing an internship at a residential treatment facility for expectant mothers and their children. Shortly after graduation, she was hired as the program coordinator for the City of Hinesville, Georgia’s supportive housing program; at which time, she was responsible for assisting with federal emergency funds, community outreach, life skills education, supportive housing and more. Amelia has experience working with hospice, child welfare investigations and foster care case management, biopsychosocial counseling, and adults with disabilities. After relocating to Florida in 2016, Amelia worked as a substance abuse counselor for the Matrix House. She created, and implemented, treatment plans, provided individual counseling, facilitated group therapy, and provided substance abuse education.
